VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGNER

Currently pursuing a Master’s in Graphic Communication Design at Central Saint Martins (UAL), I explore the intersection of visual storytelling and user context. My background spans freelance and corporate roles across Korea and Singapore, giving me a unique lens on global localization.

My design ethos is rooted in my surname, Won (원). Symbolizing "continuity" and "excellence," it reflects my drive to create cohesive, holistic design ecosystems that resonate deeply with users.

Brief: How might we support all families, carers, and communities to play and learn more creatively at home?

In Singapore’s high-density landscape, low-income families face a distinct user friction: a scarcity of time, space, and capital that creates a barrier to enriching home environments. This "resource gap" directly contributes to long-term developmental inequality.

TOKI is a service and product system designed to lower the barrier to entry for creative education. By prioritizing accessibility and ease of use, the system delivers structured educational resources that empower parents to facilitate high-quality play without requiring extensive time or financial investment. It is a strategic intervention aimed at democratizing early childhood development through scalable user-centered design.
